Execution of 5 prisoners in Adelabad prison in Shiraz in early December
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, quoted by the Iranian Human Rights Organization. On Sunday, November 27, 5 prisoners accused of drugs and murder were executed in Adel Abad prison in Shiraz.
The names of the drug accused, who were sentenced to death on this charge, were Hojat Nemati, Abbas Sabz and Omar Zardkohi.
Shahram Ahmadzadeh and another prisoner whose identity is unknown were among those accused of murder who were sentenced to death on the same charge.
The execution of these prisoners, like many executions, was carried out secretly and was not announced in the government media. Including this execution in Adelabad prison in Shiraz, the number of executions since the beginning of this Iranian year has reached 1,401, at least 511 people, and since the beginning of this year, 592 people have been executed.
