Ali Moezi, a political prisoner, was born in 1953 in Qom and lives in Tehran. He is one of the political prisoners of the sixties. From 1981 to 1984, Ali Moezi was imprisoned and tortured in Evin, Gohardasht Ghezel Hesar prisons in connection with the People’s Mojahedin. One of his brothers was arrested and executed in Iran’s prisons in the sixties for being a supporter of the People’s Mojahedin.

Political prisoner Ali Moezi, in the last arrest, during the nationwide protests of the people of Iran, was arrested on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 5:00 am, after security agents raided his home. He was then transferred to the solitary cells of Evin prison and was interrogated. After interrogation, he was transferred to Ward 8 of Evin Prison.
But on Sunday, April 16, 2023, he was called from prison and transferred to solitary cell 209 of Evin. He is under pressure and interrogation in 209 Evin.
On Friday, August 18, 2023, political prisoner Ali Moezi was sentenced to six years and three months in prison at the age of 70 after spending four months in solitary confinement. The conviction of this political prisoner was issued by Judge Salavati.
The accusations of this political prisoner were announced for the presence of his children in Ashraf 3 in Albania and for issuing a statement against the regime. This is despite the fact that he was previously imprisoned for these charges in the eighties and nineties and has endured the conviction of these charges.
In mid-August 2023, political prisoner Ali Moezi was taken to a court headed by Judge Salavati. This was while he had announced that he had not committed a crime and did not recognize the court and was not willing to appear in court. Judge Salavati in this court, after 10 months of indecision, sentenced him to 75 months in prison.

He arrested in the fall of 2008 for going to Iraq to visit his children. And sentenced to two years of penal servitude and three years of suspended imprisonment.

June 2013, he was again arrested on the charge of “propaganda against the regime” and sentenced to four years in prison in Absence by Judge Asif Hosseini.
In 2015, despite the end of his sentence, they did not release him. In the same year, by filing a case, he was sentenced to another year in prison by Judge Moghiseh, and in 2016, by filing another case under the title of propaganda against the regime, he was sentenced to another year in prison.
Ali Moezi was finally released on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, after 5 years of prison.
During his imprisonment, he did not recognize the courts and refused to attend the courts that were established for him.
