Armin Khodaiyari, born in 2005 in Zanjan, sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment, of which 1 year and 9 months will be enforceable. According to the Iran Human Rights Center, on Sunday, April 10, 2025, he is the youngest political prisoner in the Lakan prison in Rasht, having just turned 20.

Armin Khodaiyari sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment, with 1 year and 9 months enforceable. He was 19 at the time of his arrest and spent 4 days in solitary confinement under interrogation. And beating to coerce a confession against himself. He then transferred to the Misagh ward of Lakan prison.
Armin Khodaiyari had two court sessions in November and December 2024, one in person and one online. Without access to a lawyer and a fair trial, he was convicted by Judge Mehdi Rasakhi in Branch 3 of the Revolutionary Court on charges of propaganda against the regime and was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment.
Informed sources told the Iran Human Rights Society that the primary reason for this verdict was his resistance against the interrogators and not bowing to the judge.

Prohibition of Torture and Inhumane Treatment:
Article 5 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Article 7 of the International Covenant prohibit torture and inhumane and degrading treatment. Numerous reports exist of torture and mistreatment of arrested protesters in Iran, indicating violations of this provision.
Right to Fair Trial:
According to Article 10 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Article 14 of the International Covenant, everyone has the right to have their case tried fair, public, And by an independent and impartial tribunal. In many cases, protesters in Iran arrested and convicted without access to a lawyer. And also without a fair trial, which violates this right.
Right to Life, Liberty, and Personal Security:
Article 3 of the Universal Declaration states that everyone has the right to life, liberty, and personal security. Arbitrary and unlawful detentions by authorities violate this fundamental right.
Overall, the repression and imprisonment of protesters in Iran constitutes a clear violation of several articles of international human rights documents, and these actions severely criticized by international human rights organizations.
