The death sentence of At least four Baloch prisoners was executed in Saravan and Zahedan prisons, the prisoner executed in Zahedan did not have a birth certificate
Iranian Human Rights Society said on Saturday, December 10, quoting Baluchistan media. At dawn on Saturday, December 10, the death sentence of at least four Baloch prisoners named Ehsan Bakhtiari. and Mustafa Qavi Panjeh and Muslim (family name unknown) in Saravan prison. and Abdulwase Brahui in Zahedan prison, all were charged with murder.
Execution of three prisoners in Saravan prison
At dawn on Saturday, December 10th, three Baloch Baloch prisoners named Ehsan Bakhtiari, Mostafa Qavi Panjeh and Muslim (family name unknown) were sentenced to death in Saravan Prison.
These prisoners were arrested in Saravan several years ago on charges of murder and were in Saravan prison until their execution.
According to these reports, Ehsan Bakhtiari is the son of Ali, a resident of Dezak, Mehrestan. Mustafa Qavi Panje, son of Jangi Khan, resident of Perkent village, Kohak district. and Muslim (unspecified family) known as Sahuk were from Saravan.
Execution of a Baloch prisoner without birth certificate in Zahedan prison
According to Halash Vash Sahargah, on Saturday, December 10, a Baloch prisoner named Abdul Wase Brahui (Zirkari) was executed in Zahedan prison on the charge of murder.
Abdulwase Brahui, about 30 years old, was the son of Nazar without a birth certificate and was a resident of Zahedan
According to an informed source: “Abdul Wase was arrested in 2018 on charges of murder in Zahedan, and he was sentenced to death in the criminal court of this city, and his sentence was carried out today.”
It is worth mentioning that at least 19 Baloch citizens have been executed in the past three weeks. During the past days, a Baloch prisoner named Mohsen Hashemzahi was transferred to solitary confinement for execution. However, his execution was temporarily stopped due to the widespread reaction of his countrymen.
Including the execution of these four Baloch prisoners, at least 1,401 Iranians have been executed since the beginning of this year, at least 467. This is while many death sentences are carried out secretly and are not published or announced anywhere. Therefore, the actual number of executions is higher than this number.
According to Baluchestan media, along with the wave of nationwide protests in the country, the execution of prisoners, especially Baloch citizens, has increased significantly in recent weeks.
Also, at dawn on Thursday, December 8, Mohsen Shekari, the first protester among those arrested during the nationwide protests, was executed in Rajaei Shahr prison.
We remind you that the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Iran accused the authorities of the Iranian government of launching a new campaign to execute prisoners.
