At least two Baloch prisoners accused of drugs and murder were executed in the central prisons of Zahedan and Iranshahr. One of these prisoners was executed after 12 years in prison.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Saturday, May 29, 2023, at least two Baloch prisoners accused of drugs and murder, named Nematullah Rigi Ladiz and Mahmoud Rahmani, were executed in the central prisons of Zahedan and Iranshahr.
According to Halosh, Nematullah Rigi Ladiz known as Abdul Hamid Rudini, 48 years old, was from Zahedan. He, who was married and had six children, was hanged in Zahedan Central Prison without informing his family and making the last visit.
According to this report, in 2018, Nematullah Rigi Ladiz was arrested and sentenced to death in connection with drugs. He was told that if the main person related to this case is arrested, he will be released. But this morning they called the family and told them to come for his body.
Also, another prisoner named Mahmoud Rahmani from Khairabad Naigun village of Iranshahr executed in Iranshahr prison on charges of murder. Mahmoud Rahmani was imprisoned in Iranshahr prison for this charge since 12 years ago.
Iran’s human rights society considers the execution of prisoners with various accusations as a tool in the hands of the Velayat al-Faqih government to suppress and intimidate the society.
