Four Political Prisoners Transferred to Solitary Confinement in Sepidar Prison, Ahvaz
On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, four political prisoners—Ali Mojadam, Moein Khenfari, Mohammadreza Moghadam, and Anan Ghabishavi—transferred from Sheiban Prison in Ahvaz to solitary confinement cells in Sepidar Prison, Ahvaz.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Center, as of Monday, November 25, 2024, more than 40 days have passed without any news of the condition of these four Arab political prisoners sentenced to death. They remain in Sepidar Prison under death-row conditions, and their families are deeply concerned for their well-being.

Background on Ali Mojadam
Ali Mojadam, son of Saleh, born in 1983, is a married father of three from Kut Seyyed Saleh, Ahvaz. He arrested by the Intelligence Ministry on February 9, 2019. After 63 days of solitary confinement and interrogation in the Intelligence Detention Center, he transferred to Ward 8 of Sheiban Prison in June 2019.
Mojadam and 14 others accused of participating in an armed operation against security forces in September 2018. In February 2023, the Revolutionary Court of Ahvaz sentenced Mojadam and five other political prisoners to death on charges including “participation in armed operations against security forces,” “acting against national security,” “connection with foreign entities,” and “forming an anti-government group.”
Background on Moein Khenfari

They also convicted of killing two police officers, a Basij member, and a soldier in Bandar Khomeini and alleged membership in the group “Harakat al-Nidal.” Mojadam’s final court session, conducted online, took place on April 24, 2024, in Sheiban Prison.
Moein Khenfari, 30, from the Kut Seyyed Saleh district of Ahvaz, arrested in 2019 in a group case. During interrogation, he was repeatedly subjected to torture. On February 13, 2023, the Revolutionary Court of Ahvaz sentenced Khenfari and five others to death for “waging war against God” (Moharebeh).

About Political Prisoner Seyyed Adnan Mousavi Ghabishavi

Seyyed Anan Mousavi Ghabishavi, born in 1996 in Shadegan, is the youngest member of the group sentenced to death. Arrested in February 2019, and also he endured severe torture during detention. On February 13, 2023, he sentenced to death along with five others on charges of Moharebeh.
The group convicted of killing two police officers, a Basij member, and a soldier in Bandar Khomeini and membership in “Harakat al-Nidal,” as well as attacks on Basij and IRGC facilities. His final court session held online in April 2024.
The families of these prisoners continue to face immense stress and uncertainty. Prison officials have provided conflicting information about their whereabouts, intensifying concerns about their safety.
