Killer judge / Hamid’ s ribs broken under torture/ His wife was hit with a baton to force her to confess
Dr. Hamid Ghareh Hassanlou sentenced to death in the Karaj court and his wife Farzane Ghareh Hassanlou sentenced to 25 years of exile in Ahvaz prison.
According to “Iranian Human Rights Society”, 53-year-old radiologist Dr. Hamid Ghareh Hassanlou sentenced to death by Karaj Revolutionary Court. While reports indicate that his ribs broken under severe torture.
His wife, Farzane Ghareh Hasanlou, who is an expert in laboratory science and sentenced to 25 years of exile in Ahvaz prison. Under blows of baton on her head, said that her husband also kicked Ajamian to get rid of torture.
According to published reports, they participated in 40th ceremony of Hadith Najafi, one of the victims of the ongoing protests, on November 3. In this place, Ruhollah Ajamian and some uniformed forces attacked protesting people. And they had killed and injured some with weapons, they were surrounded by people.
Dr. Hamid Ghareh Hasanlou along with 15 children and young people are accused involving in killing this Basiji agent. Which had arbitrarily appeared on Karaj highway to suppress people
According to reports, on Wednesday, December 7. Death sentence of this expert doctor informed him, even though he had a patient undergoing surgery in the hospital.
Also, Ms. Farzaneh Ghareh Hasanlou’s deportation order informed her. While it is against humanity. “25 years imprisonment and exile in Ahvaz prisonو under supervision and not be visited by anyone”.

At the same time, Amnesty International stated in a statement that .”Iranian authorities tortured the couple in order to get a confession from Hamid Ghareh hasanlou .And to force Farzane Qarahasanlou to accuse her husband.”
This is even though, according to jurists, confessions under torture and confessions about another person have no legal validity.
It should be noted that death sentence for five people. And long-term prison terms for several other accused in Ajamian case issued by Judge Asif Al-Husseini head of Karaj Revolutionary Court. Who is described by many political prisoners and lawyers as a “psycho” and a “murderer”.
Ajamian, along with his accomplices in Basij base, involved in the killing of two protestors, Nima Nouri and Mehran Shekhari. But this matter not investigated yet

Amnesty International called on everyone to emphasize the necessity of freedom and the immediate abolition of death sentences. They ask Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, the head of the judiciary of the Islamic Republic, to prevent more death sentences for citizens. And apply international judicial standards in prohibiting execution of children and special regulations for children in courts.
