Hamzeh Darvish solitary confinement in Lakan Prison worsens; officials block hospital transfer despite doctor’s orders. Sunni activist faces torture amid protests.

Hamzeh Darvish Solitary Confinement Sparks Health Crisis

Iran Human Rights Society, Wednesday, November 5, 2025 – Hamzeh Darvish solitary confinement has turned dire. Prison officials in Lakan Prison, Rasht, keep this Sunni activist isolated. His health plummets, yet they block vital care. Protests swell across Iran, and the regime tightens its grip. However, voices like Darvish’s expose the cracks. He demands justice, but faces retaliation instead.

Darvish endures over a month in isolation. Therefore, his physical and mental state collapses. He shared his plight in a short family call on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Severe weakness grips him. Low blood pressure drains his energy. Constant lethargy haunts his days. Officials gave him IV fluids, but his body rejects them.

The prison doctor acts urgently. He stresses the need for hospital transfer. Facilities inside fall short. However, guards ignore this plea. Darvish stays trapped in his cell, neglected and alone.

Prison Officials Escalate Pressure on Hamzeh Darvish

Authorities moved Hamzeh Darvish to solitary on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Prison heads ordered it after his audio protest surfaced. In that file, he blasts inhumane conditions at Lakan. He details torture against Sunni prisoners. Psychological torment weighs heavy. Degrading acts strip dignity away.

Sources near Darvish point to his bold words. He chanted “Death to Khamenei” and “Death to Velayat-e Faqih.” These slogans ignited fury among officials. Therefore, they unleash harsh penalties. One relative speaks out to human rights contacts. “They punish Hamzeh for speaking truth,” he says. Darvish has called out torture before. He exposes suspicious drugs and mind games. Yet, instead of fixes, isolation silences him.

Furthermore, threats mount. Prison agents warn of worse if he stands firm. He must deny the audio, or face backlash. The judiciary brews a new case. Charges include “propaganda against the regime” and “insulting Khamenei.” Harsher sentences loom large.

Family Pleads for Intervention in Hamzeh Darvish Case

Darvish’s loved ones panic. They beg international bodies for help. The UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights tops their list. A family member shares fears with media outlets. “We lack updates on his state,” she explains. Visits remain banned. “His condition worsens fast. The prison offers no aid. He risks death any second.”

This isolation drags on. Over 30 days pass since his transfer. Officials show no mercy. Instead, they compound his suffering. Protests echo his cries, yet the regime digs in. Therefore, global eyes must turn here. Silence aids the oppressors.

Past Abuses Haunt Hamzeh Darvish’s Imprisonment

Darvish has warned before. In an open letter to the UN rapporteur, he lays bare the horrors. Guards inflict physical beatings. They jab unknown drugs into veins. Agents push inmates toward suicide. Darvish vows accountability. If harm strikes, Lakan officials and security forces bear blame.

These patterns persist. Sunni prisoners like him draw extra fire. The regime fears their voices. However, Darvish refuses to break. His audio cuts through the walls. It fuels outrage outside. Families and activists rally. They demand his release and care.

Moreover, history shows the toll. Many endure similar fates. Solitary breaks bodies and spirits. Yet, Darvish’s case spotlights the rot. Officials prioritize control over lives.

Human Rights Breaches in Hamzeh Darvish Solitary Confinement

Iran tramples core rights in Hamzeh Darvish solitary confinement. Guards deny hospital access. They prolong his isolation. Psychological barbs sting deep. These acts scream torture. Inhuman treatment festers unchecked.

Key violations stand clear. Article 3 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights promises life, liberty, and security. Everyone claims this shield under law. However, Darvish loses it all in his cell.

Article 5 bans torture outright. It forbids cruel, inhuman, or degrading acts. Yet, officials wield them freely. Solitary starves his health. Threats crush his will.

Article 25 guarantees medical care. It ensures a decent living standard. Prisons must provide it. But Lakan fails utterly. Doctors’ pleas go unheard. Therefore, Darvish withers without aid.

Iran pledged these standards. The regime signed on. However, enforcement crumbles. Protests demand change. Darvish’s fight embodies that fire. Global pressure can tip the scales. Activists urge swift action. His life hangs by a thread. Silence condemns him further.

The regime’s fear shows. Widespread uprisings shake the ground. People crave freedom. Officials respond with chains. Yet, stories like Darvish’s endure. They inspire resistance. International watchdogs must act now. Transfer him to safety. End the solitary hell. Justice waits for no one.
