In March 2015, they sentenced to death by Branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Moghiseh. This sentence violated in the Supreme Court by Judge Razini.
This verdict reviewed once again in the 15th branch of Tehran Revolutionary Court. In June 2019, the death sentence again issued for them, and it confirmed by the Supreme Court in February 2019.
It should be noted that the ideological-political prisoner of Ahl al-Sunnah Ghasem Abasteh, one of these seven cases, was executed on November 5, 2023, after 14 years in prison.
Execution is a type of punishment, in other words, the most severe punishment for the convict. Currently, most countries in the world have abolished the death penalty. And countries that still have this type of punishment in their laws, except in rare cases, refrain from issuing or enforcing such sentences.
