With the increase in the execution of death sentences in Zahedan Central Prison, Arak Central Prison and Esfrain Central Prison, the number of those executed reached 41 in just two weeks.
Executions carried out daily in Iranian prisons. While, most of the countries of the world have canceled the death penalty, and the countries that still have this type of punishment in their laws, except in rare cases, refrain from issuing or implementing such sentences.
Execution of the death sentence in Zahedan Central Prison
On Saturday, November 4, 2023, two brothers named Saeed Ali Zahi, 25 years old, and Ismail Ali Zahi, 29 years old, both construction workers and from Zabul, executed in Zahedan Central Prison. These two Baloch prisoners did not have birth certificates and arrested in 2021 on the Zabul border in connection with drugs.
According to his report, no materials have discovered from them and a case filed against them. These two brothers transferred to prison quarantine on November 2 to execute the death sentence.
Execution of the death sentence in the central prison of Arak
At dawn on Thursday, November 2, 2023, a prisoner named Hossein Gol Mohammadi, 30 years old and from Arak, executed in Arak Central Prison. He, who owned a gym, arrested and sentenced to death four years ago in connection with drugs.
Execution of the death sentence in Esfrain prison
A prisoner named Davood Behzadi o executed at dawn on Saturday, October 28, in Esfrain prison.
Dawood Behzadi, 27, o accused of murder. He arrested seven years ago at the age of 20 and sentenced to death for murder.
