Prisoner Executed in Rasht, GHezelHesar and Zahedan in Iran
Iran: Female Prisoner Hanged in Lakan Prison in Rasht
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Friday, December 1, 2023, the number of executions at Lakan prison increased to three, including one female prisoner. This is while we witnessed an increase in executions in GHezelHesar Prison and the execution of two other prisoners in Zahedan Central Prison.
Iran: Woman Hanged in Lakan Prison in Rasht
At dawn on Saturday, November 25, 2003, execution of a female prisoner whose identity is unknown was also carried out at Lakan Prison in Rasht. In this way, with the execution of political prisoner GadaAli Saber Motlagh and the prisoner accused of murdering Mohsen Sedaghat, the number of executed reached three people.
Six Prisoners Hanged in Iran
At the GhezelHesar Prison in Karaj, six prisoners executed at dawn on Friday, December first, 2023. And one prisoners executed at GHezelHesar Prison in Karaj. In addition to the Sunni political prisoners of conscience Ayub Karimi, five other prisoners executed in this prison of murder and drugs.
The names and charges brought against these prisoners include Ahad Eslami accused of murder. Bagher Mohammadi also for murder, and Kiomars Rezaee drug related charges. The names and specifications of the two other prisoners who hanged for murder not known.
Two Baluch Prisoners Executed in Zahedan Central Prison
On Thursday 30 November 2023, two drug defendants also executed at Zahedan Central Prison. The names of these two Baluch prisoners announced by Haalvash, Nasser Azbegzehi (Rakhshani) and Nasser Alizehi.
Nasser Ozbegzehi (Rakhshani), a 22-year-old resident of Zahedan. Arrested in 2021 in connection with drugs and sentenced to death by the city’s Revolutionary Court.
The other prisoner Nasser (Abdolnasser) Alizehi, 27, married and with two children, from Zahedan. He also arrested in November of 2022 for drug offenses and sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court of the city. He had denied the accusation.
Punishment and punishment are the most severe punishment for the criminal. Currently, most countries in the world also have abolished the death penalty.
