A mother, Masha Yazdani, with a burning heart and longing for justice, was summoned to prison
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society website, on Friday, December 15, 2023, the mother of the martyr Mohammad Javad Zahedi, who executed for his involvement in the protests, summoned to serve her prison sentence. Based on the summons sent to her on December 14, 2023, Mrs. Yazdani required to appear at the Revolutionary Court within three days to serve her 13-year prison sentence. Mrs. Yazdani posted this news on her personal page and wrote: “Three days is a very short time to comply with my sentence. Who should I pay attention to? My dear Mohammad, my grieving daughter, and my 4-year-old son.”?
“Mahsa Yazdani sentenced to thirteen years in prison by the first branch of the Revolutionary Court in Sari. She chargeed of “insulting sanctities”, “inciting people against national security”, “insulting the Supreme Leader”, and “activities against the regime”. According to the law on cumulative sentences, 5 years of this sentence is executable.”
Mrs. Mahsa Yazdani’s conviction confirmed
On Sunday, November 19, 2023, her conviction confirmed by the eighth branch of the Court of Appeal. After confirming the conviction, Mrs. Mahsa Yazdani wrote on his personal page. “When you killed Muhammad, I fell down for a year and got back up again.” I will stand for my Mohammad and my child until the end. No matter how empty my back is, Muhammad’s soul is watching over me like a mountain.
Mrs. Yazdani, the mother of the martyr of the Freedom Movement, Mohammad Javad Zahedi, arrested by security forces in Sari on the 31st of August 2023. And then transferred to Sari Central Prison. She temporarily released from prison on the 24th of September 2023, on bail of 1.5 billion tomans until the end of the trial process.

Mrs. Yazdani temporarily released from prison on the 26th of October with bail of one billion and 500 million tomans until the end of the proceedings.
