Several prisoners were executed in Mako, Kerman and Central Karaj prisons
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Monday, January 30, 2023, at least 6 prisoners were executed in Mako, Kerman and Central Karaj prisons.
On Monday, January 30, 2023, a prisoner named Ismail Kechlanlu was executed in Mako prison. He was accused of murder and was arrested three years ago on charges of murder and sentenced to retribute.

On the same day, 4 prisoners were executed in Kerman prison. We had previously published the news of the execution of three prisoners in Kerman prison.
Another prisoner named Behzadi from Kerman city was executed on Monday, January 30, 2023, along with three other prisoners. The names of three other prisoners were Rasool Safarzaei, Obaidullah Safarzaei and Habib Sarani were executed.
The charges of all four people are related to drugs and all of them are Baloch citizens.

On the other hand, according to the report of Iran Human Rights Organization, on the same day, a prisoner named Hasan Javanroudian, a native of Karaj, was executed in Karaj Central Prison.
Hasan Javanroudian was arrested in Karaj on drug-related charges and sentenced to death for the same charge.
Thus, including the recent executions in Mako, Kerman and Central Karaj prisons, the number of executions in the past 10 days reached 21 people.
Iran’s human rights society, while condemning these state crimes, calls on all human rights organizations and institutions to prevent the continuation of executions in Iran with all their capabilities.
