According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, the increase in the price of bread has caused panic among low-income groups. People are used to the daily increase in the price of goods, and if one day they do not become more expensive. It will surprise them. At present, bread is the mainstay of the people, especially the lower seven deciles of society. With the increase in food prices, people have reduced their consumption and replaced it with bread. But with bread becoming more expensive, there is no substitute for it.

In recent days, a shortage of bread reported in many provinces, including Ardabil, Sistan and Baluchistan, Khorasan and Fars. According to media reports, people have to wait in line for hours to get this basic product.
The government is trying to quietly make bread more expensive by presenting a price reform plan. The general manager of grain in Zanjan province, while announcing this plan, said that there will be no price increase. But for the people, the tactic of denial and implementation by the heads of government is not new.
Despite denying the rising price of bread, the members of parliament show their fear of the explosion of people’s anger. And warn the government leaders about this. It is very clear that the president’s government reached a dead end in providing the people’s livelihood due to economic bankruptcy.
