Ghezelhesar political prisoners expressed their solidarity in a message about the women’s sit-in in Evin prison in protest against the death sentence of Pakhshan Azizi
According to the Iranian Human Rights Center, Thursday 25 July 2024. Ghezelhesar political prisoners supported the women’s sit-in in Evin prison in a message and emphasized that:
resistance and protest against repression and execution for political and non-political people.
The message of the political prisoners of unit 4 of Ghezelhesar prison is as follows:
Execution of at least 3 prisoners in Birjand, Vakil Abad and Bandar Abbas prisons
Execution of prisoner of conscience Kamran Sheikha after 15 years in prison
Help us to be the voice of the prisoners by sending us any information in this regard
Ghezelhesar prison, laying the groundwork for the murder of political prisoners by transferring them to the prison of dangerous prisoners

«Immediately after the election show and its widespread sanctions, as it was predictable, the repression and execution machine were restarted in a vengeful and criminal act, and more than 18 prisoners executed in different prisons in four days; And on this Tuesday, 7 prisoners executed, 3 of whom were female prisoners, which shows the misogynistic nature of the regime.
With the cry of protest of the heroic women of Evin prison, we learned that the political prisoner Mrs. Pakhshan Azizi was also sentenced to death on the charge of government-made “Baghi”, and at the same time, our former Mr. Kamran Sheikha cellmate was transferred to solitary confinement in Urmia prison to execute the death sentence.; And we also learned that more than 10 other people have been transferred to solitary confinement to execute the sentence.
We, the prisoners of Ghezelhesar prison, support the political prisoners of Evin women’s prison, and agree with their protest, and while condemning the violation of the right to life of the Iranian people by the execution machine, we draw the attention of all international human rights institutions to the wave of executions that have started. We draw new attention and emphasize that resistance and protest against repression and execution Prisoners “political and non-political”
