Three people who arrested during the nationwide protests, Zahedan Hossein Kashani Asl, Adel Gorgij and Ali Ahmad Barichi, sentenced to prison and exile.
According to the report of the Iranian Human Rights Society, on May 30, 2023, three Baluch compatriots were among the detainees of the nationwide protests in Zahedan, Hossein Kashani Asl, Adel Gorgij and Ali Ahmad Barichi. They each sentenced to 10 years in prison and exile by Judge Hassan Ghanbari in Branch 2 of the Criminal Court of Nouri Zahedan Judicial Complex.
Hossein Kashani Asl sentenced to 10 years in prison and exiled to a prison in East Azarbaijan on the charge of “Moharebeh” and to three months in prison on the charge of “disturbance”.
Kashani is a 30-year-old resident of Karimabad district of Zahedan, one of the Sunni and Baloch compatriots.
Hossein Kashani Asl arrested on October 1, 2022. In protest against the rape of a 15-year-old Baloch girl, in the midst of nationwide protests.
He threatened before that he executed on charges of “Moharebeh”.
Prison and exile sentencing for others
Adel Gorgij was sentenced to 10 years in prison and exiled to a prison in Ardabil province on the charge of Moharebeh, and to three months in prison on the charge of “disturbing”.
Adel Gorgij, 22 years old, a resident of Bozormehr area of Zahedan. Arrested on October 9, 2022 at the police exit of the Zahedan road to Khash. And then tortured in the detention centers of the Ministry of Information.
Before being transferred to Ward 9 of Zahedan Central Prison. He imprisoned for a long time in the solitary cell of that prison.
Adel Gorgij is the breadwinner of his family and his mother is also sick. His family is in a difficult situation after Adel’s arrest.
Also, Ali Ahmad Barichi sentenced to 10 years in prison and exiled to a prison in East Azerbaijan on the charge of “Moharebeh” and three months on the charge of “disturbance”.

These three political prisoners arrested in the midst of nationwide protests, protesting the rape of a 15-year-old Baloch girl. They are friends of Khodanur Lajae’i, a martyr of the way of freedom. And currently imprisoned in Ward 9 of Zahedan Central Prison.
