Five prisoners accused of murder and drugs executed in Shiraz, Gohardasht, Yasouj and Gachsaran prisons.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Center, during three days of June 11, 13, and 14, 2023, five prisoners were executed in Shiraz, Gohardasht, Yasouj, and Gachsaran prisons, only one of which announced by the government media.
On June 11, 2023, two drug-related prisoners named Alireza Shahcheraghi and Taher Nouri executed in Shiraz Central Prison.
These two prisoners were from Jahrom and both of them accused related to drugs. Taher Nouri, one of these two prisoners, arrested three years ago and sentenced to death on drug charges.
On June 13, 2023, a prisoner named Hamid executed in Gohardasht prison. He accused of murder and sentenced to death by the second branch of the criminal court of a province of Tehran.
This news announced by government media.
On the same day, a prisoner named Milad Ghobadi executed in Yasouj Central Prison. He arrested four years ago and executed for murder.
On June 14, 2023, a prisoner named Hasan Ali Hasanpour executed in Gachsaran prison. He accused of killing a prisoner three years ago in prison.
