Execution of two prisoners in Qazvin Central Prison
According to the Iranian Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Monday, December 12. Two prisoners named Abbas Hosseini and Ali Seyedkhani executed in Qazvin prison on drug-related charges.
These two prisoners were arrested and sentenced to death in a joint case related to drugs.
In this report, quoting an informed source. It is stated: “These two prisoners were arrested about three years ago and sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court. About two months ago, the court promised that their sentence would not be executed and each of them would be sentenced to prison. But they were executed against the promise.”
Execution of two prisoners in Khorramabad prison
According to Harana, on Monday, December 12. Two prisoners named Asghar Alizadeh and Ebrahim Broujerdi were executed in Khorramabad prison on drug charges.

These two prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement together with another prisoner on December 11 to serve the sentence. The third person, who was taken to solitary confinement together with these two prisoners, was sent back to prison after the suspension of the sentence.
According to this report, the details of these two prisoners were Asghar Alizadeh from Kohdasht and Ibrahim Borujerdi from Borujerd. Asghar Alizadeh was arrested in 2020.
Execution of a prisoner in Mako prison
According to Harana, on Thursday, December 8. Aprisoner named Shayan Hasanpour (Hasanzadeh), about 23 years old, was executed in Mako prison on charges of murder.
Including the execution of these five prisoners, at least 475 Iranians have been executed since the beginning of this year, 1401, and at least 571 since the beginning of 2022. This is while many death sentences are carried out secretly and are not published or announced anywhere. Therefore, the actual number of executions is higher than this figure.
It is worth mentioning that at dawn on Monday, December 12, the death sentence of Majid Reza Rahnavard Payan Deh was executed in public in Mashhad. Also, three prisoners have been executed in different prisons with murder and drug charges.
In addition, on Thursday, December 8, 2022; Mohsen Shekari, one of the detainees of the nationwide protests, was executed in public. He was accused of fighting by injuring a repressive force and blocking the street. This prisoner was executed in Gohardasht prison (Rajai Shahr).
