Two Baloch political prisoners executed in Zahedan. Mohsen Ghanbarzehi was 16 years old at the time of his arrest
Two Baloch political prisoners were executed in Zahedan prison in Iran. Both prisoners severely tortured, and Allah ghanbarzehi buried up to his neck to obtain a forced confession.
Iranian Human Rights Society. At dawn on Saturday, September 3, 2022, two Baloch political prisoners, Mohsen Qanbarzahi and Ainullah ghanbarzehi, executed in Zahedan prison. They were accused of “actions against national security, connection with groups opposed to regime, and murdering three military officers”.
A summary of the process of executed prisoners
According to Balochistan media reports, Mohsen ghanbarzehi, known as Nasrallah, son of Jaman, was born in 1996, unmarried, from Zahedan, and was 16 years old at the time of his arrest.
Also, Ainullah ghanbarzehi was the son of Abdul Rahman, born in 1989, married and has 4 children, a resident of Shandak village, Zahedan.
Both prisoners transferred to solitary cell in Zahedan prison on Thursday, September 1st to carry out death sentence. And on September 2nd, they managed to meet their families for the last time.
two Baloch political prisoners; Ainullah and Mohsen, had a family relationship, arrested in 2012. And they were accused of “acting against national security, collaborating with anti-regime groups, and murdering three military agents.” And they were sentenced to death by the Zahedan Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Mahdevian.
According to these reports, both prisoners severely tortured in the solitary cells of the IRGC intelligence detention center during their detention. And they forced to confess against themselves, also denied the right to access a lawyer and contact their family.
HAALVASH report
According to the HAALVASH report, these prisoners wrote a letter from Zahedan prison in 2019 along with a number of other prisoners. They mentioned human rights violations and physical tortures in this prison and also wrote:
“Several Baloch prisoners kept handcuffed and shackled in the IRGC detention center of this city continuously for seven months. Hanging accused by
their feet, which lasts for hours is another form of torture and carried out by the IRGC intelligence. “In order to obtain forced confessions.
The IRGC officers buried Ainullah Ghanbarzahi up to his neck to obtain a forced confession.”
Iran’s human rights society has strongly condemned the torture and execution of political prisoners. and calls for the immediate intervention of the United Nations and the Human Rights Council to stop extrajudicial executions in Iran.
