Execution is a type of punishment in Iran
Execution is a type of punishment, in other words, the most severe punishment for the convict. Currently, most countries in the world have abolished the death penalty. And countries that still have this type of punishment in their laws, except in rare cases, refrain from issuing or enforcing such sentences. The death sentence is legal in Iran , and in Iran’s judicial rulings. This punishment issued for some political crimes, murder, rape, sexual abuse of children. And also adultery, drug trafficking, armed robbery, kidnapping, and war. The implementation of the death sentence in Iran under the dictatorship of Velayat al-Faqih used to increase repression.
