Following the acceleration of the execution of prisoners, six more prisoners executed in Yazd and Vakilabad prisons of Mashhad, four of whom Baloch prisoners. On the other hand, we have witnessed an increase in executions in the last six days.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at least six prisoners were executed in Yazd and Vakil Abad prisons in Mashhad.
Also, the news indicates the execution of two more prisoners in Birjand and Vakil Abad prisons in Mashhad on April 29 and May 1, 2023. The highest number of executions is related to Baloch citizens and drug suspects.
On Thursday, May 4, 2023, five prisoners in Yazd prison named Sabour Shah Bakhsh, Amir Ramshak, Abdul Basir Bejam (Tutazahi). A prisoner of Afghanistan and a prisoner from Yazd executed in the central prison of Yazd.
These 5 prisoners were waiting for the death sentence since May 2, when they transferred to solitary confinement for execution.
Sabour Shah Bakhsh, 32 years old, from Zahedan, Amir Ramshak, 34 years old, from Regan city, Abdul Basir Bejam (Totazahi), 29 years old, from Zahedan. All three of these people were Baloch and arrested on drug charges and sentenced to death.
A prisoner from Afghanistan also charged with drugs, and a prisoner from Yazd, whose identity is unknown, accused of murder.
On the same day, Noorahmad Zarouzhi (Nahtani), married with children, from Zahedan, executed in Vakil Abad prison in Mashhad.
He arrested in 2020 on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Mashhad Revolutionary Court. In this way, the number of executions in Yazd and Vakil Abad prisons in Mashhad reaches six.

Also, on May 1, 2023, Hossein Vahedi Rigi, 38 years old, father of one daughter, from Zahedan and resident of Mashhad, executed in Vakil Abad prison of Mashhad. His charge was related to drugs.His execution also done without informing his family and the last visit.
It is said that his execution was after the murder of Saravan’s police chief Colonel Shahraki . And in revenge for this murder.
It should be noted that in recent days, we witnessed numerous and rapid executions of Baloch prisoners in Iranian prisons. The Iranian human rights community has condemned the execution of the death sentence in Iran and considers it to be a tool to suppress the countrymen, especially the Baloch countrymen.
