Three prisoners, including two Baloch prisoners, executed in Zahedan, Roodan and Karaj Central Prisons

According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on January 8, 9, and 10, 2023. Three prisoners, including two Baloch prisoners, executed in Zahedan, Roodan, and Central Karaj prisons.

On the morning of Sunday, January 8, 2023, a Baloch prisoner named Pardel Ahmad Khanzahi executed in Zahedan prison. There is no information about his charges and details.

Some have named Pardel Ahmad Khanzahi as one of the detainees of the recent nationwide protests. But there is no information about the truth of this issue. The accusation and details of Pardel Ahmad Khanzahi are under investigation.

Nazir Surkh Kaman executed in Roodan prison

On the morning of Monday, January 9, 2023, a Baloch prisoner named Nazir Surkh Kaman executed in Roodan prison. His charge was related to drugs.

Nazir Surkh Kaman was 28 years old, the son of a Mosafer, married with a child, from Baluchistan and a resident of the border village of Milak in Zabul.

According to HaalVsh website, Nazir Surkh Kaman executed without any information and last meeting with his family. He summoned to the guard officer at 12:00 PM and from there he transferred to solitary cell.

Also, at dawn on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Peyman Arab, one of the prisoners sentenced to death in Karaj Central Prison, executed in this prison.

Peyman Arab transferred to solitary cell along with 8 other prisoners sentenced to death.He from Urmia, arrested three years ago on drug charges and sentenced to death.

Including these executions, in the last three weeks, at least 35 prisoners executed in Iran’s prisons within 21 days.

It should be noted that at least 623 executions carried out in Iranian prisons in 2022. And 273 more prisoners executed than last year.
