Ghezel Hesar prisoners sew lips shut in hunger strike against executions. Over 1,500 protest on day 6, demand life over death. Water cut, fainting reported.

Iran Human Rights Society, Saturday, October 18, 2025 – Prisoners in Ghezel Hesar Prison unleash a desperate cry for life. They sew their lips shut and starve themselves. This Ghezel Hesar hunger strike marks day six on October 18, 2025. Over 1,500 inmates in Unit 2 battle a brutal execution wave. Emaciated bodies clutch placards screaming “No to Execution.” They demand lighter sentences instead of death. However, authorities ignore their pleas. Families wait outside in fear. Therefore, the world must hear this silent scream.

This protest erupts amid Iran’s deadliest October. Guards cut water to Unit 2. Prisoners faint from low blood pressure every few minutes. Yet, they persist. Videos leak out, showing sewn lips and frail forms. Furthermore, jamming devices block calls and news. The regime silences them, but defiance grows. Activists worldwide rally support. Consequently, this Ghezel Hesar hunger strike spotlights poverty’s toll. Inmates fight not just for freedom, but for bread and dignity.

Shocking Scenes: Sewn Lips and Starving Bodies

Videos from inside Ghezel Hesar Prison stun viewers. Prisoners stitch their mouths closed in agony. Their bodies waste away from days without food. They hold signs pleading “No to Execution.” This act demands an end to death sentences. Convert them to prison terms, they urge. Informed sources reveal the spark. At least 16 inmates moved to quarantine for hanging on October 13, 2025. Rage ignited. A huge group in Unit 2 rejected meals right away.

One clip captures the horror. A man with thread through his lips speaks haltingly. Blood trickles down. He waves a tiny gallows in protest. Guards watch from shadows. However, inmates refuse to break. They chant through pain. “We die together or live free,” one declares. Therefore, this visual cry pierces prison walls. Families gather outside, hearts pounding. Security forces push them back. Yet, hope flickers in shared resolve.

Voices from the Void: A Prisoner’s Plea

Listen to one inmate’s words from Unit 2. He greets Iran’s people on October 18, 2025. “This marks day six of our Ghezel Hesar hunger strike,” he says. “No to execution. Yes to freedom. For empty tables, unemployment, poverty. For our children’s welfare. Our absolute right. A piece of bread. One degree less for release. Freedom, freedom, freedom.” His voice cracks but holds firm.

He grips a symbolic noose. It represents stolen lives. Poverty drives many here, he explains. Empty homes fuel crime, then death rows. However, execution solves nothing. It breeds terror, not justice. Furthermore, inmates link their fight to broader woes. They protest joblessness and neglect. “We starve inside and out,” another adds. Therefore, this plea echoes beyond bars. It calls all Iranians to rise. Solidarity swells from Evin Prison too. Political captives join the chorus.

Brutal Suppression: Water Cuts and Blackouts

Prison bosses strike back hard. They install jammers to kill phone signals. News stays trapped inside. Threats fly, beatings follow. Psychological torment grinds nerves raw. Yet, protesters vow to endure. “We continue until death ends,” they declare. Sources report dire health crises. Several collapse daily. Low pressure drops them cold. Medics offer nothing. Relief stays absent.

Water vanishes from Unit 2 taps. Daily tasks grind to halt. Hygiene crumbles, infections rise. Guards claim it’s temporary. Inmates call it torture. However, faintings spike. One falls every moment, reports say. Families beg for scraps of truth. Officials feed lies. “All is calm,” they insist. Therefore, uncertainty reigns. But leaks persist. Smuggled clips fuel outrage. Global watchdogs demand access now.

Bloody October: Executions Surge Nationwide

October 2025 bleeds red in Iran’s prisons. Over 200 death warrants issue or carry out this month. It rivals past mass killings. Ghezel Hesar leads the grim tally. Hangers claim lives hourly. Political prisoners issue a fierce statement. “Prison walls crack open,” they write. “Sewn lips scream for survival. This October drowns in 200-plus deaths. Ghezel Hesar inmates stand tall. Execution fixes no ill.”

They blast the policy as fear-mongering. Crime roots in inequality, not absence of nooses. Poverty pushes hands to theft. Unemployment breeds despair. However, the regime hangs the poor. Elites escape scot-free. Furthermore, 1,000 executions hit Iran since January 2025. Amnesty International urges UN pressure. Halt the gallows, they cry. Therefore, this wave shatters illusions. Justice erodes, trust vanishes. Protests like Ghezel Hesar’s signal revolt.

Sewn Lips as Justice’s Last Stand

Sewn lips forge a potent symbol. Hungry bodies defy the death machine. International bodies warn repeatedly. The death penalty spreads like plague. Yet, Iran ignores calls. Prisoners name it political terror. Not crime’s cure, but control’s whip. This massive Ghezel Hesar hunger strike exposes cracks. Judicial legitimacy crumbles. Public faith in courts fades fast.

Inmates argue execution perpetuates hate cycles. It scars psyches, especially kin. No data shows it curbs violence. Roots lie in systemic bias. Ideological schools breed ignorance. Corruption festers unchecked. However, the vulnerable pay ultimate price. Therefore, sewn lips demand reform. They seek humane paths. Global voices amplify. UN, EU, watchdogs unite. Pressure mounts for change.

Human Rights Trampled in Ghezel Hesar Cells

Ghezel Hesar’s strike lays bare abuses. Guards react with fury to peaceful pleas. They deny medical aid. Family contacts vanish. Such cruelty degrades all. It mocks basic dignity. Key breaches glare obvious.

Article 3 of the Universal Declaration safeguards life, liberty, security. Authorities snatch them daily. Article 5 bans torture, cruel acts. Beatings, isolations violate it outright. Article 10 of the ICCPR mandates humane treatment. Starvation, water denial defy this. Article 7 forbids mental or physical coercion. Threats, jammers crush spirits.

These acts scream systemic rot. Execution policies crush rights wholesale. Protests meet suppression, not dialogue. However, inmates’ courage inspires. They expose the crisis. Judicial structures bleed humanity dry.
