According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Monday, January 30, 2023. Masoumeh Sanobari from Tabriz was arrested in Karaj in January 2023 and was transferred to Fardis prison in Karaj (Kechoui).
Masoumeh Sanobari was previously imprisoned in the women’s ward of Tabriz Central Prison. She was charged with propaganda against the system and insulting Khamenei and was sentenced to 8 years in prison. And she was imprisoned for this charge.

Masoumeh Sanobari is the daughter of Muhammad Ali, born in 1988 in Tabriz and has a daughter.

Masoume Sanobari was arrested on March 6, 2019, in Ilkhchi-Sko city and transferred to Tabriz Intelligence Detention Center. He was interrogated and tortured in the IRGC intelligence detention center. He was unable to walk due to whipping. Due to the blows to the head, his vision was blurred, and his leg was cracked.
He was released in August 2019 with a bail of 600 million tomans،until she present in court.
Masoumeh Sanobari was arrested again on February 5, 2020, without a prior summons, from her sister’s house and was transferred to the Intelligence Detention Center of Tabriz.
In October 2020, Masoumeh Sanobari became infected with the corona virus after female prisoners in the Central Prison of Tabriz were infected with the virus and they were not quarantined. In addition, she was severely tortured after her arrest in Tabriz.
