The continued detention of political prisoner Ali Moezi in solitary confinement in cell 209 of Evin prison by order of Salavati
Ali Moezi, a 70-year-old political prisoner with advanced prostate disease and arthritis, still held in solitary confinement in Cell 209 of Evin Prison, seven months after the order issued by Judge Salavati, according to the Iranian Human Rights Society.
Mr. Moezi is a political prisoner, born in 1953 in the city of Qom and residing in Tehran.
Ali Moezi suffers from severe knee arthritis and experiences severe pain. He also suffers from prostate disease. However, according to a reliable source, Judge Salavati prevents him from leaving solitary confinement and transferring him to public wards.
According to the same source, Mr. Moezi had previously been diagnosed with prostate cancer and was undergoing treatment for the disease before he was arrested. He had undergone prostate surgery once, and his treatment not complete when he arrested.
Now, prison officials are not allowing him access to medical treatment. Even the medical requirements that his family has provided for him not given to him.
Despite his old age and illnesses, the political prisoner does not have the physical ability to endure imprisonment, especially in solitary confinement. However, Judge Salavati is preventing his transfer to a public ward.

And also did not recognize the court and was not willing to attend the trial. In this court, after 10 months of uncertainty, Judge Salavati sentenced him to 75 months in prison.
