Ali Mohammad Parisaei released from prison on April 17, 2023, but arrested again on September 11, 2023, and after a while, he transferred from Dehdasht prison to Yasouj.
According to the report of the Iran Human Rights Society, as the end of December 2023 approaches, nearly 4 months have passed since the indecision and continued detention of Ali Mohammad Parisai in Yasouj prison. He is one of the detainees of the nationwide protests of 2022. Ali Mohammad Parisai born in 1987 in Dehdasht city of Kohgilouye and Boyer Ahmad province. He is a driver. His job is to transport household appliances from southern cities to Tehran and other big cities.
Ali Mohammad Parisayi arrested by security forces on December 3, 2022. During his arrest, security forces attacked his residence with 6 cars full of individuals in civilian clothes wearing masks, and then started extensive shooting, causing fear among the residents of the neighborhood.
Security forces have accused him of leading protests in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, while he had denied the charges from the beginning of his arrest.
Torturing Ali-Mohammad Pirsaei in order to obtain forced confessions
The agents of the Ministry of Intelligence have severely tortured Ali-Mohammad Pirsaei in order to force him to make forced confessions. In a meeting with his family, he said: “In the first four days of detention, they beat me, lashed me, and did things to me that I couldn’t believe one human being would do to another. To the extent that they handcuffed my hands together for several days. There, I realized that one should not expect any mercy in life, and I lost my sense of humanity.”
After the arrest of Ali-Mohammad Pirsaei in December 2022, Koen Metsu, a member of the Belgian Parliament, has taken responsibility for his political asylum, as he is at risk of receiving a death sentence.
Ali-Mohammad Pirsaei released on bail on 17th of April 2023, but he arrested again on 11th of September 2023 and transferred from Dehdasht prison to Yasuj. Since then, he held incommunicado.
