According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, a female prisoner named Samira Sabzian Fard, who was accused of murdering her husband, was executed in GhezelHesar prison.
He, who married at the age of 15, arrested 10 years ago on the charge of murdering her husband and has been in prison since then. He was a victim of domestic violence and was 19 years old at the time of his arrest.
Samira Sabzian had two children and during 10 years of prison she deprived of seeing her children. According to his reports, after 10 years, he managed to visit his children before his execution.
