The death sentence of a prisoner executed in Isfahan.
Iranian Human Rights Society, Sunday, September 10, 2022, the death sentence of a prisoner in Isfahan named Hassan Aghamohammadi executed on the charge of murder.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Organization, Hassan Aghamohammadi was 27 years old and was from Minadasht and sentenced to death on charges of murder. He was in prison for about three years, and his sentence carried out on Sunday, September 11, in Dastgerd prison in Ishahfan.
Including execution of this prisoner in Isfahan, the number of executions reached at least 444 since the beginning of 2022.
It is necessary to remember that in the past days, the families of prisoners sentenced to death gathered in front of judiciary in Tehran and demanded to stop executions.
Iran’s human rights community demands an immediate halt to the execution of death sentences. We ask the United Nations and the Human Rights Council to take immediate action to stop executions in Iran.
