According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, at the beginning of Iranian year1403, more than 8 months have passed since the arrest and indecisiveness of Ahmad KiShams.
He is currently under arrest in Shiban prison in Ahvaz. Ahmad Kishams arrested by the security forces on July 28, 2023.
During his detention, he was tortured to force confession. The charge attributed to Ahmad KiShams announced for insulting Khamenei and disturbing public order. During the interrogation, he was denied the right to choose a lawyer.

Ahmad KiShams is 34 years old and single. Before his arrest, he was working in a car wash in Izeh.
In the nationwide protests of 2022, the main method used by the heads of government to curb it was mass arrests of protesters. According to reliable information, the number of detainees estimated to be at least 30,000. These widespread arrests included youths, students, university professors, lawyers, doctors, reporters, athletes and journalists from all walks of life.
Amnesty International in its annual report
Earlier in April 2023, Amnesty International in its annual report mentioned the nationwide uprising and protests of the Iranian people. In this report, the widespread use of suppression tools against youth and protesting people, including shootings, arbitrary arrests, unfair trials, and physical and mental tortures by the dictatorship ruling Iran.
At the beginning of its annual report on the nationwide protests of 2022, Amnesty International wrote: “Iran was shaken by an unprecedented popular uprising against the Islamic Republic system. During these protests, security forces illegally fired live bullets and live ammunition to quell the protests, killing hundreds of men, women and children and injuring thousands. “Also, thousands of people arbitrarily detained or unjustly tried.”
