One woman and two men were executed in Tabriz Central Prison
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, three prisoners, including One female prisoner, executed in Tabriz Central Prison on charges related to drugs.
According to IHR, the first execution of the new year carried out on March 26, 2024, at Tabriz Central Prison.
The prisoner executed identified as Abbas Aghaei. Abbas Aghaei, 36, from Tabriz, arrested 28 months ago in relation to drugs and sentenced to death on this charge.
According to the report, his father died and Abbas was the guardian of his younger siblings.
Also, in the last days of Iranian year 1402, at dawn on Monday, March 18, Yasin Zulfaghari and his wife executed in Tabriz Central Prison on charges related to drugs.
Yasin Zulfaghari and his wife, whose identity is unknown, were from Jolfa and sentenced to death in a joint case related to drugs.
In Iranian year 1402) 2022-2023 ), at least 810 prisoners executed, 21 of them were women. Regarding the execution of women, due to news censorship, the news of the execution of women not reported. And these women executed in news silence and government media censorship. And in the meantime, they executed and imprisoned in absolute injustice and lawlessness.
In Iran’s prisons and detention centers, women have the worst conditions and endure the most severe tortures. Before this, news has been published those talks about assaults on women prisoners.
