One of these prisoners named Mohammad Ali Taheri, a 46-year-old man from Kermanshah, who arrested on charges related to drugs and sentenced to death.
The other executed prisoner was Jamshid Taherkhani, a resident of Takestan, who arrested four years ago on charges of murder and sentenced to death.

In the early hours of Thursday, November 28, 2024, one prisoner executed in Nahavand prison. This prisoner named Hadi Qiyasi, the son of Abbas, and from Nahavand. He had been arrested four years ago on charges related to drugs and sentenced to death.
Execution of 2 Prisoners in Adelabad Prison, Shiraz

- Osman Dahmarde, 26 years old, son of Sarwar, was from and resided in Zahedan.
They sentenced to death in 2019 in a joint case related to drugs.

Contradiction of the Death Penalty with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as an important international document, guarantees the fundamental rights of all human beings, regardless of race, color, sex, language, religion, political opinion, or any other status, national or social origin, property, birth, or any other condition.
Article 3 of this Declaration explicitly states: “Everyone has the right to life.”
The death penalty, as the highest form of punishment, directly contradicts this article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
