Families of the prisoners confronted with bodies of their loved ones on the day of the meeting – three Baloch prisoners were executed in Zahedan
Three Baloch prisoners were executed in Zahedan Central Prison without informing their families.
Iranian Human Rights Society quoted by Baluchistan media; Sunday dawn, November 2. Three Baloch prisoners named Imam Bakhsh Naroi, Mohsen Anshini and Wali Rudini were executed in Zahedan prison on drug charges.
Imam Bakhsh Naroi and Mohsen Anshini were executed without the family’s knowledge. And the family encountered their dead bodies on visiting day when they went to the prison to visit their loved ones as usual.
Imam Bakhsh Naroi, son of Rahman, married and with two children living in Zahedan, Mohsen Anshani, 24 years old, married and from Zahedan, and Wali Rudini, a resident of Zahedan, were all arrested in 2020.
In this report, an informed source is quoted. “When the families of these two prisoners (Mohsen Anshini and Imam Bakhsh Naroi) went to the prison. On Sunday for their weekly meeting, they encountered their lifeless bodies.”
Reports indicate that the number of executions was more than this.
This source added: “The execution of these two prisoners took place without informing their families.”
Including execution of these three Baloch prisoners. Number of executions since the beginning of this Iranian year reached at least 420 people.
This is while the actual number of executions is much higher than this number. And many death sentences are carried out in secret, and no one is informed about it.
With the efficiency of Gholam Hossein Mohseni Eje’i and Ebrahim Raisi, the speed of executions has increased shockingly. Earlier in a circular, the judiciary demanded to speed up the execution of sentences.
