Happy International Labor Day to all workers
The Iranian Human Rights Society congratulates all the hardworking workers of Iran on May 1st, International Labor Day.
For decades, special ceremonies have been held on this day in various countries (except for the United States of America, Canada and a few small countries).The United States and Canada celebrate the first Monday of every September as Labor Day.
This day commemorates the concerted protests of American workers who called for a national strike for the first time on May 1, 1886.
Their demand was to work 8 hours a day instead of 14 hours.
Happy International Labor Day
We congratulate International Labor Day to all the hardworking workers of the country who, despite suffering and hard work, are struggling with poverty, high prices and hundreds of other problems.
