Jasem Niazi, one of the detainees of the nationwide uprising, arrested again in the city of Fasa.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Thursday, October 12, 2023. A citizen from Fasa named Jasem Niazi, who was one of the detainees of the nationwide uprising in 2022, arrested for the second time. Jasem Niazi, a 32-year-old resident of Fasa, arrested on 23th October 2023 in Fasa and transferred to an unknown location.
He had previously been arrested during the nationwide protests and released after several months of torture and interrogation on February 8, 2022.
The nationwide uprising in 1401 (2022) began on September 15th, following the unjust martyrdom of Mahsa Amini at the hands of the suppressive forces of the Guidance Patrol in Tehran, under the pretext of improper hijab. It continued with the widespread and months-long presence of the people.
The uprising started with protests against the suppression of the Guidance Patrol against Iranian women. But quickly became a symbol of the entire regime and called for the overthrow of Khamenei in every city and street.

This uprising blazed through the streets and rooftops for over 6 months. Undoubtedly being the longest and widest uprising against the dictatorial rule of the Supreme Leader in the past 45 years. Thousands of Iranians arrested during these protests.
