Ahmed Alizadeh arrested by the security forces on October 17, 2022, in connection with nationwide protests in Abdanan city. After some time, he released on bail. Ahmed Alizadeh arrested again on January 7, 2023, by the security forces. Also, in March 2023, he sentenced to 6 years and one day in prison by the first branch of the Ilam Revolution Court on the charge ofintention of disrupting the country’s security.
He also sentenced to 7 months and 16 days in prison, forced retirement and exile to Fanuj city of Sistan and Baluchistan. Charging of propaganda against the regime. This court has also banned Mr. Ahmed Alizadeh from any activity in cyber space.
Ahmad Alizadeh was sentenced to retirement in September 2023 by the first-instance board of government officials for serious disturbance of public order, leader of the crowd with the aim of disrupting the security of the country, disobedience to the officers while performing their duties and setting fires in the city.
Ahmad Alizadeh, 50, is a high school sports teacher in Abdanan County. On Saturday, November 4, 2023, he presented himself to the Branch of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office of Abdanan for the execution of the sentence.
On his way to prison, he told the Iranian people in a videotape:
In the hope of people’s freedom from the clutches of religious tyranny.I am willing to sacrifice my life for the sake of freedom and the betterment of my homeland’s people. 27 months in prison is the least cost.
