The number of executions in Karaj reached four and three prisoners executed in Karaj Central Prison
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Monday, January 29, 2024, three prisoners sentenced to death executed in Karaj Central Prison. In addition to this, the news indicates that on this date, another prisoner executed in GHezelHesar prison.
Execution in Karaj Central Prison
At dawn on Monday, January 29, 2024, three drug-related prisoners executed in Karaj Central Prison. The full names of the prisoners are not known. The last names of two of them were Ajami and Jafari.
Execution in GHezelHesar prison
On the same day, in addition to four Kurdish prisoners, another prisoner named Ali Rajabian executed in GHezelHesar prison on drug charges. Ali Rajabian was from Kohdasht.

Why is there execution in Iran?
