According to the report of the Iranian Human Rights Society website, Monday, April 22, 2024, the physical condition of the political prisoner Karim Esmailzadeh due to the prison authorities’ obstruction of proceedings Medicine is unfavorable. Political prisoner Karim Esmailzadeh suffers from heart problems and digestive problems. In order to pressure and torture him, the prison authorities confiscated much of the medicine he needed, which was prepared by his family, and did not deliver it to him.
Political prisoner Karim Esmailzadeh arrested again after being released for a few days
At the end of March 2024, he sentenced to 6 months in prison by the second branch of the Court of Appeal of East Azarbaijan province for the charge of inciting and inviting people to violent acts in cyberspace.
Political prisoner Karim Esmailzadeh arrested by the security authorities on 16 August 2023 when he entered Sahand Stadium in Tabriz. He released after a few days with a bail of 900 million tomans. After a short period of time, he arrested again and after posting bail, he temporarily released until the court’s decision.
Arrest in order to block the nationwide protests
