In this summons issued by the second branch of Shahryar Revolution Court, Mohammad Habibi asked to appear in this branch on the 29th of June 2024 to defend the charge against him.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Monday, June 24, 2024. Mohammad Habibi, the spokesperson of the Tehran Teachers Union, summoned to the second branch of the Revolution Court in Shahryar. This subpoena issued on Saturday, July 22nd. In this summons issued by the second branch of Shahryar Revolution Court, Mohammad Habibi asked to appear in this branch on the 29th of June 2024to defend the charge of assembly and collusion against the government and committing a crime against internal and external security.
Previously, on April 5, 2023, Mohammad Habibi, a teacher and former political prisoner, arrested. According to his wife Khadijah Pak Zamir, he beaten during detention.
Mohammad Habibi arrested at his teaching place in Shahryar by 4 agents of the West Intelligence Department of Tehran Province. The agents brought his information to his home after his arrest and searched the house. He then transferred to ward 209 of Evin prison. His arrest warrant issued by the second branch of Evin investigation.
About teacher and former political prisoner Mohammad Habibi
Mohammad Habibi is one of the senior members of the Tehran Teachers Union, who arrested by IRGC Intelligence during the teachers’ protests on 10 May 2018. He transferred to Greater Tehran Prison on 15 May 2018, and at that time he imprisoned in Greater Tehran Prison for 4 and a half months.
Mohammad Habibi in August 2018 in Branch 26 of the Revolution Court of Tehran, presided over by Judge Ahmadzadeh, sentenced to 7 and a half years in prison on the charge of “gathering and collusion against the security of the country”, on the charge of “propaganda against the system” to 18 months in prison, “disturbing the Public Order” sentenced to 18 months of imprisonment and 74 strokes of the whip, as well as 2 years of ban on activities in political and social parties, groups and factions and ban on leaving the country as additional punishment.
Mohammad Habibi was transferred to the Tehran prison in early 2020 by the order of the prosecutor’s office. On Tuesday, November 10, 2020, this teacher and teacher union activist released from Tehran prison after serving 30 months of imprisonment.
