Eleven prisoners executed in the prisons of Iranshahr, Gonabad, Qom, Ghazilhasar, Ahvaz, Shiraz, Mashhad, and Aligudarz. According to the Iran Human Rights Society, on Thursday, April 10, (2025), eleven prisoners executed in the prisons of Mashhad, Shiraz, Aligudarz, Ghazilhasar, Gonabad, Iranshahr, Shahrud, and Ahvaz.
On Tuesday morning, April 7, (2025), a prisoner named Taher Shahbani executed in Aligudarz Prison. This 35-year-old prisoner from Borujerd and arrested four years ago on murder charges and sentenced to death.
On the same day, another prisoner named Shahram Goudarzi also executed in Aligudarz Prison, a fact previously reported by the Iran Human Rights Center.
Identification of 2 executed prisoners in Ghazalhasar prison
The identities of two prisoners executed in Ghazalhasar Prison on Wednesday, April 9, (2025), have been confirmed as Mehdi Salan and Sajjad Akbari. Mehdi Salan was from the Yakhchiabad neighborhood of Tehran. Both prisoners were charged with murder.
On Wednesday morning, April 9,(2025), a prisoner named Saman Rashidi executed in Sepidar Prison, Ahvaz. He had previously been arrested for murder and sentenced to death. Saman Rashidi was the son of Ali Joon and hailed from Izeh.
On Wednesday morning, April 9, (2025), two prisoners, including an Afghan national, were executed in Adilabad Prison, Shiraz. The names of these prisoners were Vahid Ashouri and Saud Mirzaei. Vahid Ashouri was from Yazd and had been arrested four years ago on murder charges, while Saud Mirzaei was an Afghan national who arrested three years ago on murder charges.
Execution of a prisoner in Vakilabad prison, Mashhad
On Wednesday morning, April 9, (2025), a Baluchi prisoner named Sajjad Barahoi executed in Vakilabad Prison, Mashhad. He was 22 years old, the son of MohammadAkram, and from a village in the outskirts of Sarakhs. He arrested in (2023) for murder during a collective brawl and sentenced to death.
On Sunday morning, April 6, (2025), a prisoner named Habib Aghaei executed in Qom Prison. This 32-year-old prisoner from Karaj and arrested two years ago on drug-related charges and sentenced to death.
On Wednesday morning, April 9 (2025) Habib Aghaei, a prisoner named Younes Kord (Abdollah Naroui) executed in Gonabad Prison. He was 48 years old, from Zahedan, married, and had 10 children. He arrested in 1398 (2019) on drug-related charges and sentenced to death. On the same day, another prisoner named Ismail Dahmarde, 62 years old, who also married and a resident of Zahedan, executed in Gonabad Prison, as reported by the Iran Human Rights Center.

On Thursday morning, April 10, (2025), two prisoners named Ehsan Bamari and Yasin Bamari executed in Iranshahr Prison. Ehsan Bamari, the son of Jan Mohammad, was from and resided in the village of Himdabad in Delgan County, arrested four years ago on murder charges and sentenced to death. Yasin Bamari, 28 years old, the son of Ghamshad, from the village of Nokabad in Iranshahr County and arrested on murder charges in 1395 (2016) and sentenced to death.
On Thursday morning, April 10, (2025), a prisoner named Moein Ashrafi executed in Shahrud Prison. Moein Ashrafi was 32 years old and from the village of Qaleh Agha Abdollah Bastam. He arrested five years ago on murder charges and sentenced to death.
In total, eleven prisoners executed over the past week.
In 1403 (2024), three prisoners secretly executed in Shahrud Prison. Their names were Ali Ahani, Ali Ashrafi, and Ali Asghar Eskandari. Ali Ahani sentenced to six months in prison for a brawl but executed in Shahrud Prison in 1403 (2024) due to insulting Khamenei and the judge for the charge of Moharebeh. Ali Ashrafi executed in 1403 (2024) on murder charges, while Ali Asghar Eskandari executed in 1403 (2024) for murder during a tribal conflict.
