17 Baloch Prisoners Executed in Iran whitin Six Days

The identities of 17 executed Baloch prisoners have been confirmed over the past 6 days.

According to reports received by the Baloch Human Rights Campaign, 17 Baloch prisoners were executed in various prisons across Iran in just six days. Several of these executions were carried out without prior notice or final family visitations, raising serious concerns about the lack of transparency and judicial fairness.

The legal process, the explanation of charges, access to legal defense, and the level of judicial transparency remain unclear or highly questionable.

3 executions were politically and security-related.
8 executions were connected to drug-related charges.
6 executions were based on murder allegations.

These actions violate several articles of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), to which Iran is a signatory. These include rights to a fair trial, legal representation, and protection from arbitrary execution.
