40th ceremony of Mahsa Amini held in Aichi Saqez cemetery despite threats and security conditions
Iranian Human Rights Society, Wednesday, October 26, 2022. 40th day of nationwide uprising in Iran coincides with 40th day of Mahsa Amini’s murder.
Reports indicate that ceremony held in Aichi Saqez cemetery in response to widespread calls for Mahsa Amini’s 40th birthday in various cities and universities.
Although the security agents closed all the entrances to Saqez since last night. Also, they strongly pressured Amini’s family to issue a statement to cancel the ceremony. And Mahsa’s brother also threatened with arrest, but ceremony was held in Aichi Saqez cemetery.
