Ghazaleh Ghasemi, a young girl who was killed by government agents with a blow to her head

According to Iranian Human Rights Society, Thursday, December 29, 2022. Ghazaleh Ghasemi Kajani, born in 1996, was 26 years old and had a bachelor’s degree in biology. She worked in an animal clinic. She was killed by government agents.

Ghazaleh Ghasemi killed by security agents at 10 pm on Saturday, October 1. In her death certificate, it is written that she was killed by a heavy blow to head, but government agents stated the cause of her death as an accident.

According to an informed source: “On the night of October 1, her family was informed that she was hospitalized and had an accident. But medical examiner announced that she was killed by a heavy blow to her head. Her body was still warm when the family arrived. But the government agents quickly wrapped her body and put it in the morgue.

Ghazale Ghasemi’s family not allowed to see her body at first. Ghazaleh Ghasemi’s colleague, who was with her on the night of the murder, also killed under the name of suicide.

In the nationwide protests and uprising of the people of Iran, which started in October 2022, after the murder of Mahsa Amini. More than 600 protesting compatriots killed by police and uniformed forces. The names and details of a large number of them have been published by the Iranian Human Rights Society.

Names of many killed people have not been announced

The names of many killed people have not been announced at all due to the great pressure on the families. And the government announces their names under fake and false titles, such as suicide or accident.

Among martyrs of freedom movement, names of more than 600 of them have been published by Iranian Human Rights Society.

After more than three months of protests in Iran, the repression and killing of women has reached a new peak. And the protests of women of Iran and the world led to the great victory of Iran’s expulsion from the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.

These women were killed by repressive government agents during the nationwide protests in Iran. That started on September 13, 2022, with the murder of Mahsa Amini in Tehran. Some of them were killed by direct bullets, some by batons or beatings by the officers.
