Abbas Saroni executed in Gonbad-e Kavus after 21 years imprisonment another prisoner was executed in Neyshabur
The execution of two prisoners, one of whom was executed after 21 years imprisonment in Gonbad-e Kavus.
According to Iranian Human Rights Center, in the last days of August 2022, a prisoner named Abbas Saroni executed in Gonbad-e Kavus after 21 years imprisonment. Also, Also, another prisoner executed in Neishabur.
Abbas Saroni is a police major and has been in prison for the crime of murder for 21 years ago.
He was sentenced to death for the same charge and executed in the last days of August 2022.
Another execution executed in Neishabor prison
On the other hand, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. another prisoner named Ahmad Karmi, 37 years old, married and has one child, executed in Neishabor prison.
Ahmed Karmi was in prison for 4 years and he was charged with murder.
Iran’s government has always been at the top of human rights violators. In particular, during presidency of Ebrahim Raisi, who is one of perpetrators of 1988 massacre, these executions increased and accelerated.
Ebrahim Raisi’s one-year record from August 3, 2021, to August 3, 2022. includes at least 545 cases of execution, whipping and amputation. And at least 128 cases of arbitrary murder, 18,210 cases of arrest and many other cases of human rights violations and repression. According to statistics, 21 of the executed prisoners were women.
On Sunday, August 21, 2022, three prisoners, including a woman, executed in Shiraz prison. The identity of this woman is unknown.
It is worth mentioning that on Wednesday, July 27. in a report, Amnesty International warned about terrible wave of executions in Iran and demanded to stop it.
