Saada Khadirzadeh committed suicide by hanging herself and feeding pills to her 2-month-old daughter as a result of interrogations and pressures of security agents to obtain forced confessions.
According to the received news, Saada Khadirzadeh’s suicide was aimed at obtaining forced confessions to falsify all the news related to her in Urmia prison in Iran.

According to this report, Saada’s associates, who were informed about this, immediately removed scarf from her neck and saved her. However, Urmia prison officials refused to transfer her to the hospital immediately and kept Saada in prison.
Saada’s two-month-old baby daughter named “Ala” is currently under care in the hospital of Urmia prison, but Saada herself is still in prison, although her vision in one eye has been seriously damaged due to suicide pressure.
The cause of Saada Khadirzadeh’s suicide was the pressure to obtain forced and false confessions
In this report, it is also stated: On Tuesday, August 16, agents of the Urmia Intelligence Department took Saada Khadirzadeh to an unknown place and interrogated her for hours. The agents were looking for Saada’s connections outside the prison and how to spread the news about her and her baby’s condition.
Finally, the interrogators forced Saada to associatesin front of the camera by creating psychological pressure and asked her to say: “The condition of women in Urmia prison is very favorable and all health facilities and services are regularly provided to her and her baby and all the news that is being published about Urmia women’s prison by foreign organizations, especially Hengaw, are pure lies!”
Security agents have threatened Saada that if she does not appear in front of the camera, they will file a medical case regarding her mental health and hand over her child to welfare.
After making a forced confession and returning Saada to prison, she commited suicide by hanging herself and feeding pills to her 2-month-old daughter.
Human Rights Center not to prison – not to death, as it had previously warned about the health condition of this female political prisoner in Urmia prison, once again condemned the torture and interrogation to obtain forced confessions and calls to save the lives of Ms. Khadirzadeh and other political prisoners.
It is worth mentioning that on May 5, Amnesty International wrote in a statement regarding the arrest of Mrs. Khadirzadeh: “The arbitrary detention of a pregnant woman named Saada Khadirzadeh in Urmia Central Prison in West Azarbaijan Province, is contrary to the standards of a fair trial and according to the International laws, it is considered as an arbitrary act.
Mrs. Khadirzadeh had started a hunger strike in Urmia prison to achieve her rightful demands.
