On June 13, 2023, the security forces shot at 3 fuel trucks and killed fuel carriers. In this incident, at least 2 other fuel’s carrying injured.
The security forces ambushed the cars on the Khor-Jandagh axis in Isfahan province and fired at the cars without prior warning, which led to the cars overturning and catching fire and killing four fuel carriers, including a 15-year-old child. Due to the lack of fire extinguishing facilities, all 4 mentioned tankers lost their lives in the fire.
In order to cover the poverty of the people, the heads of the government claim that fuel’s carring has a high income. But the bitter reality is something else. The people and even the educated youth of this province have no other source of income and their only choice is fuel’s carring.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Tuesday morning
The arsonists who were killed are: Behzad Lajaei, Aziz Qanbarzahi Gergij, Saeed Gargij and a child named Idris Gomshadzahi. According to local sources, his father was imprisoned some time ago and Idris was the sole breadwinner of the family, who turned to labor and fuel delivery to provide for their livelihood. Three of the dead were from Zahedan and residents of Tang Rah village in Golestan province. The identities of the other two injured persons are Sanaullah Sargarzaei and Saeed Kebdani.
According to published statistics, in the Iranian year 1401, at least 82 fuel carriers lost their lives due to shootings or traffic accidents.
Fuel is the only source of income
Fuel delivery is the main source of income for the deprived people of Sistan and Baluchistan province. fuel earrings in this province, like Kolbari in Kurdistan, is only a result of poverty and looting of public wealth by the leaders of the government. The poverty and deprivation of the people that forces them to play with their lives despite the abundance of wealth in the country. In the past years, drought and unemployment have cut off the safety of the people of this province. They have turned to the business of death in order to get a little bit of bread.
Educated young people who carry fuel.
In order to cover the poverty of the people, the heads of the government claim that refueling has a high income. But the bitter reality is something else. The people and even the educated youth of this province have no other source of income and their only choice is to transport fuel. Their income after each service is only a few hundred thousand Tomans. This is while the biggest profits belong to the main smugglers, all of whom are IRGC mercenaries.
Fuel carrying and playing with life by the youth of Sistan and Baluchistan is the immediate result of the predatory policies of the government leaders and theft of public wealth. Government looting in absolute poverty forces them to do anything. The continuous protests of the people of Sistan and Baluchistan province show the explosive social situation of the people. These protests are linked to the nationwide protests of Khamenei and other heads of government.
