Four other Baloch prisoners executed in Zahedan Central Prison
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Monday, August 21, 2023, four other Baloch prisoners of drug charges executed in Zahedan Central Prison.
According to HaalVash’s current report, Abdul Samad Khadim, Yaqoub Egbari , Mohammadanur Brahoui and a prisoner with the last name Qanbarzahi executed in this prison.
Abdul Samad Khadim, 29 years old, a resident of Zahk city, arrested in 2018 in connection with drugs and sentenced to death in Zabul Revolutionary Court.
A month ago, he transferred from Zabul to Zahedan Central Prison to execute the death sentence.
Yaqoub Egbari, married with 8 children, was a resident of one of the villages of Zahedan and Mohammadanur Brahui was a resident of Zahedan.
These prisoners had their last meeting with their families on August 21.
It should be noted that at least 58 prisoners executed in Iran’s prisons in less than a month. Most of the executed prisoners are drug suspects.
Iranian Human Rights Center has condemned the implementation of illegal death sentences. And calls for intervention of international organizations to stop crimes in Iran.
Including the execution of this prisoner, number of executions reached at least 496 people since the beginning of 2023.
During the first 5 months of the current Iranian year 1402, also at least 329 prisoners executed in Iranian prisons. A large number of executed prisoners were Baloch compatriots, most of whom were very poor and heads of families who had earned money through drugs due to financial poverty.
