Hayman Shahi is 23 years old, married and has a 3-month-old child. He recently lost his father and took care of his family. He supported the family by working as a laborer in the summers and as a bakery apprentice in the fall.
Hayman Shahi from Oshnavieh was arrested in October 2022 in the midst of nationwide protests in the city of Oshnavieh.
So far, they have organized a court for him twice. In one part of this case, he accused of “warfare and corruption in the land” and the other part, which is related to “damage to Refah’s Bank and Sepah government facilities” and “use of weapons in protests”, is under investigation in the 104th Criminal Branch.
Hayman Shahi did not accept these accusations and stated that his confessions in both cases taken under pressure during the interrogation.
