Shahab Bayat, one of the detainees of the nationwide protests in Hamadan, was summoned again and a case was filed against him.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Saturday, June 10, 2023, the second branch of the Revolutionary Court of Hamadan city summoned Shahab Bayat and accused him of propagandizing against the regime.
He was temporarily released on bail. But according to the notification of this court, he is required to appear in court on July 11, 2023. He is accused of propagating against the regime.
According to a reliable source, in his previous case, there is a three-month prison sentence and a two-and-a-half-year suspended sentence. If he is sentenced to prison in the new case, his suspended sentence will also be activated and he will face three years in prison.
