The death sentence of three prisoners, including a woman, has been executed in Hamedan and Borujerd prisons

28-year-old Mohammad Sarfraz was arrested on drug charges four years ago and was in Hamedan prison.
An informed source told the Iranian Human Rights Society: “Mohammed Sarfraz was taken from the youth prison for execution.” He was arrested and executed for 18 kilos of drugs.”
It is said that Mohammad had the last meeting with his family yesterday.
Execution carried out in the presence of prosecutor(Three prisoners executed)
The execution carried out in the presence of prosecutor named Khanjani. And most of the death sentences in Hamedan are issued by Judge Nazari.
On Tuesday, October 25, another prisoner named Hossein Walizadeh was executed in Hamedan prison on the charge of murder.
In a report on execution of this prisoner, Iranian Human Rights Organization wrote: “He committed murder with his friend about three years ago due to financial disputes.”.”Hossein had fled for forty days from the day of the incident and went to Isfahan. But after that period he returned and introduced himself.”
In addition, on the morning of Thursday, October 27, a woman was executed in Borujerd prison. The identity of this woman, who sentenced to self-retribution on the charge of “intentional murder” of her husband, has not been confirmed at the time of this news. (Source: Iran Human Rights Organization)
Including the execution of these prisoners, the number of executions since the beginning of 2022 has reached at least 490 prisoners.
Iranian human rights soceity has warned against the crimes committed in prisons, including executions, and demands immediate action from the United Nations Human Rights Council to stop the death sentence.
