Political prisoner Yonus Azadbar accused of ” Moharebeh, « Corruption on Earth and Rebellion » “, “propaganda against the regime”.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Thursday, August 31, 2023. Yonus Azadbar violently transferred to the first investigation branch of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Sanger Revolution, and an interrogation session held. This session held without the presence of his lawyers. This political prisoner accused of ” Moharebeh, « Corruption on Earth and Rebellion » “, “propaganda against the regime”. He currently imprisoned in Lakan prison in Rasht.
Yonus Azadbar, 60 years old, a resident of Sangar, is one of the political prisoners of the 60s and 70s. On July 19, 2023, he arrested by intelligence agents at his place of residence in Sangar city of Gilan province.
After his arrest, he was transferred to Mithaq Ward of Lakan Prison in Rasht and interrogated.
This political prisoner, who tortured in prison for years, developed epilepsy in prison as a result of hitting his head with a baton and continues to suffer from the effects of this disease.
